Everything we do as a booster club depends on volunteers. All the members of the board are parents and volunteers as are all the Booster Parents that support specific teams and clubs. And all fundraising is, you guessed it, run by parents/volunteers. We can't do what we do for Lincoln Park High School athletics and clubs without people who are willing to donate their time.
The hours aren't long, and the work isn't difficult but to get to where we want to go, we need more minds and bodies to make this work. As a relatively new booster club (2020) we've made great strides, but we can accomplish so much more with more like-minded parents. So please join us. It'll be more rewarding than you can imagine. The most important roles within the Booster Club is that of the parent liaison...or Booster Parent. We encourage each team, club or activity to designate at minimum one Booster Parent to help with their volunteering and fundraising efforts.
